Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 15, 2025

At RouteHubOrg, we understand that handing over your business data isn't something you do lightly. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you work with us on iOS and Android app projects. We've written this in plain language because legal jargon helps no one.

Information We Collect

When you reach out to us or start a project, we collect different types of information. Some you give us directly, and some we gather as you use our services.

Information You Provide

This includes what you share when filling out forms or communicating with our team:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Company name and business details
  • Project requirements and technical specifications
  • Payment information processed through secure third-party providers
  • Content you want included in your app (text, images, data structures)
  • Feedback and communication records from emails, calls, or meetings

Information We Collect Automatically

Our website gathers some technical details to help us improve your experience:

  • IP address and general location (city level, not your exact address)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
  • Referring websites and search terms that brought you here

How We Use Your Information

We're not in the business of selling data. Everything we collect serves a specific purpose related to building your app or running our business properly.

Purpose Details
Project Development Creating, testing, and delivering your iOS or Android application according to agreed specifications
Communication Sending project updates, responding to inquiries, and scheduling meetings
Payment Processing Managing invoices and transactions through secure payment systems
Service Improvement Analyzing website usage to make our services more helpful
Legal Compliance Meeting obligations under Cambodian law and international agreements

Data Storage and Security

Your information lives on secure servers located in data centers that meet international security standards. We use encryption for data transmission and storage, though no system is completely bulletproof.

Our team members access client data only when necessary for project work. We use password protection, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits to keep things locked down.

For active projects, we keep your data readily accessible. Once a project wraps up, we archive information for three years in case you need support or want to build on previous work. After that period, we delete everything unless you've specifically asked us to keep it longer.

Sharing Your Information

We don't sell or rent your data to anyone. But we do work with some trusted partners who help us deliver services:

Service Providers

  • Cloud hosting companies that store project files and databases
  • Payment processors that handle financial transactions
  • Email service providers for project communication
  • Analytics tools that help us understand website usage

Legal Requirements

If Cambodian authorities or courts require disclosure under local law, we'll comply. We might also share information to protect our legal rights or prevent fraud, though we'll notify you when legally permitted.

Business Transfers

Should RouteHubOrg be acquired or merge with another company, your information would transfer to the new entity. We'd notify you before this happens and explain any changes to how your data gets handled.

Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your information, and exercising these rights shouldn't feel like pulling teeth.

Access and Correction

Want to see what information we have about you? Just ask. You can request a copy of your data, and we'll provide it within 30 days. If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal information. We'll honor this unless we need to keep certain records for legal or contractual reasons. For example, we keep financial records for tax purposes as required by Cambodian law.

Marketing Communications

We occasionally send updates about our services. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in our emails. This won't affect project-related communication, which we need to send to do our job.

Data Portability

Need your data in a format you can use elsewhere? We'll provide structured data exports in common formats like JSON or CSV when requested.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies, but nothing creepy. Most are essential for the site to function properly. Others help us understand which pages people find useful.

You can block cookies through your browser settings, though some site features might not work as smoothly. We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside Cambodia. When we transfer data internationally, we make sure adequate protections are in place through standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

If you're working with us from outside Cambodia, your information might be processed in Cambodia where our main operations are based.

Children's Privacy

Our services target businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover we've accidentally collected such data, we delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We review this policy annually and update it when our practices change. If we make significant changes, we'll notify active clients by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when the most recent version took effect.

Continuing to work with us after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree with changes, you can terminate services according to your contract terms.

Cambodia-Specific Considerations

As a business operating in Cambodia, we follow local regulations including those set by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. Cambodia's data protection framework is developing, and we commit to meeting both current requirements and emerging standards.

For clients based in regions with stronger data protection laws (like the EU or California), we apply those higher standards to your data regardless of where we're located.

Questions or Concerns?

If something in this policy isn't clear, or if you want to exercise any of your rights, get in touch. We respond to privacy inquiries within five business days.
